we have lots of new windows, and need new shades/blinds. i would prefer a company where they come and advise what type for each window, measure and install, without costing a fortune.
any good/bad experiences to share? is it much more money to have someone come to your home, vs buying at Lowes, etc?
thanks!

I used to work at Total Look Interiors and they have a wonderful selection of window coverings. They sell Hunter Douglas and are the only HD Gallery dealer in Tucson. They will come out and bring samples and help you choose, or you can go into the showroom. The 2 best window coverings people there are either CJ or Joey. You can ask for either when you call. Their number is ###-###-#### and they are located at 2856 E. Fort Lowell which is on the south side of Fort Lowell between Tucson & Country Club. They also carry furniture, carpet, tile, wood flooring and cabinets. Good luck!

I have experience selecting blinds for my house while in colorado. The best advice I can give you is to get an estimate for several sources and go with the one that seems to know what they are doing. I went to Lowes, Budget Blinds and 3 Day Blinds. The best value and most knowledgeable in Denver was 3Day. I was completely satisfied. It all depends on the person helping you.
Hope that helps.
I covered all the windows in my 3 bedroom house with Budget Blinds and it cost approximately 700 two years ago. There is a business in the Prince area. I didn't get anything fancy as I planned to rent it our. I purchased vertical, 3 inch wide blinds, off white. Just tell them you only want to cover your windows. THey look nice and have lasted thus far.
I am from Casa Grande and I am moving into a new home soon myself and I also need blinds. If you do get some good information, would you be so kind as to pass it on? Casa Grande is about an hour away, but a lot of companies travel out this way.
