Toast in downtown Littlton is adorable, fun, and hip. http://www.toastygoodness.com/
there's some fun shops and salons nearby that you can walk to, too.
My friends birthday is tomorrow and a friend of mine and myself are going to take her to lunch. I would really like to take her to a neat little place instead of the local chains. We are in Parker but don't mind driving a little ways. If any one knows of anywhere please let me know. Thanks! J.

Hi J.,
The Augustine Grill in Castle Rock is a great place. The restaurant kind of looks and feels like an old home. The inside is decorated very "girlish".. victorian-ish.. it's very pretty. The food is great as well. Or if you want something a little more on the hip-ish side.. Union Grill in Castle Rock is great. Their food is fantastic! And if you are feeling crazy (at lunch time)... you can order her a "shot of Birthday Cake". It is a shot of liquor that tastes just like cake. Have fun!
I was going to suggest Sisters' Espresso in downtown Littleton. Perfect for a girls' lunch.
Also reading the other posts, Toast is fun, too- also downtown Littleton.
There's a little place called Katherine's Bakery in Denver (Aurora). It is close to Parker Rd and Yale. They are a little small, but the food is great and the pastries are even better!
