I Started a Period Yesterday and Just Had One 2 Weeks Ago: Loestrin 24 Fe

Do any of you use Loestrin 24 Fe? Do you like it? Is what I'm experienciing out of the ordinary?
I recently started taking it (took my 10th pill today) but noticed I started a light period yesterday. Why would this be if I'm not even half way to my 3 iron pills? As a matter of fact I started a period exactly 2 weeks ago today and then I started my Loestrin24 Fe the following Sunday to do the Sunday start. I've taken the pill many years ago (although not this one) and liked that it kept me more regular since I am very irregular....which should be the idea right? So why a period now?

I have had no experience with that pill specifically but sometimes pills take a while to adjust and your body to adjust to it. I say give it a full month to see if it works itself out. Calling your Dr to run it past them is always a good idea tho too. Everyone's body is different and your Dr should know best what is or isn't to be expected with that specific pill. I know finding the right pill can take time and it's sometimes a frustrating situation but you will eventually. In fact, this may be it but your body is still adjusting. So I say give it a little time!

It is really simply. I believe that this pill is not the right pill for you. If it causes you to have your period more that once a month it is the wrong dose for you and you need to go see your doctor. Years ago when I was on the pill it took months to find out that I needed to be on the "mini pill". It has less side effects.
A progestin-only contraceptive is one kind of birth control pill. It is often called the "mini-pill." Regular birth control pills have 2 female hormones: estrogen and progestin (a synthetic version of the naturally-occurring hormone progesterone). The mini-pill has only progestin in it. Because this pill doesn't contain estrogen, it may not have as many side effects.

I have gone back on the pill after having my 3 kids. Never had a problem when I was younger, but I am currently on my 3rd kind. I had to keep trying different kinds to see which one was best...good luck...it was a very trying process

Do you take it at the same time everyday? I used to take Loestrin and found that if I forgot to take it in the AM and took it in the afternoon or evening it would trigger my period.
