Hi! My name is M. too! :) I just wanted to let you know that the Chandler Unified School District has a "Kindersteps" program that is great! My 5 year old missed the cut off date as well and so I had to run around to find something. The program is great because if your child does well, they will either place him in Kinder or even 1st grade if you're okay with it the following year. The number for info on that is either ###-###-#### or ###-###-####. Can't remember which just now. They don't have it at all of the schools, but they do have it at most. You will hopefully find one in your area! My daughter is currently attending at Erie Elementary and her phenomenal teacher's name is Mrs. Tolstedt. Really a great lady and a great program!! Here is a link for you:

I think they also offer "Priority Preschool" here for the younger kids. And I believe registration for next year starts on Feb the 27th. Good Luck! *M.

M.,

My husband works for the Parks & Rec Dept for the City of Chandler. He suggested you visit www.chandleraz.gov/breaktime. It is their spring edition and there is an A-Z program for kids 2-4 years of age. They offer it year round, however it might be full for spring. Hope that helps! Good luck!

Hi, Chandler and Gilbert Parks and Rec. dept have an awesome Apples to Zebras preschool class, they also offer a lot of other pre school and other classes, you can stop by one of the Parks and Rec places and pick up a brocuere and once you get started they will mail the info. to you each semester about a onth or so before classes start, classes are inexpensive and they don't put a lot of kids in each class usually 8 to 10 kids per teacher so it is nice, the class usually meets a couple of times a week for an hour and a half or so, the one in Gilbert is on McQuenn, it is a large facility with a lot of offer, I hope that you will check it out!
