Gosh, in the meantime, please be SURE your baby is getting enough intake.... is she still feeding on demand or every 3 hours at least?
And make sure she is not getting dehydrated. This is very important.
Every woman varies, but I would check with your Ped or Lactation Consultant regarding how long you should wait for your milk to increase.
How is it that you "know" your breastmilk supply is not enough?
Also make sure you are drinking enough water as well, and eating enough/healthily.
But please check on it right away. A baby's primary source of nutrition now is from your nursing. Also, as your baby approaches 6 months old, this will be a growth spurt time, and their intake needs increases and they get hungrier and need to be fed more often.
Sorry, I"m sure you know this already.. as you are not a first time Mom. I don't mean to repeat what you already know. :)
Take care, and I wish you the best,
Susan
