try Commercial Park (Wolcott & one street north of Chicago Ave) for disco dancing for little ones, nice warm staff
I am relatively new to Chicago and would like to know what the best music and movement classes are for a 10 month old? I am considering Wiggleworms, Bubble and Gymboree...or any others you may know of.

We love Wiggleworms at the Old Town School of Music. There are two locations - on Armitage and north Lincoln Ave. It seems that you received a lot of good suggestions. Since you are new in town, you should check out the local websites for kids such as Kidwinks.com and Chicagoparent.com for more ideas.
We took our daughter to Sherwood Music Conservatory at Columbia College in the South Loop. They have the same type of programs as Merrit Music School, Music Together is the class. She loved it and when I play the CD now at home, she claps her hands and shakes her music instruments as she was taught in the class when she was 12m old. I know many parents that love all the programs you mentioned. My one friend takes her child to the Chicago Symphony Orchestra classes up on Wabash in the loop, not ideal to get to or parking either.
I'm taking mine to Little Gym in the South Loop which is more gymnastics based, but cheaper than Gymboree at least.
Good Luck, there is a lot to do with your kid around here.
My 2 yo and I have been going to Music Together classes in Lincoln Square since she was 8 months old - we both love it!
We love Wiggleworms and Gymboree (especially Gymboree because with every class you get 3 free open play sessions every week, which is great in crummy weather!). I've also heard of the Merry Music Makers, but have not taken classes with them. Also, check out your local Chicago Park District...they are super affordable!

I love LOVE the music classes at Merit School of Music in the West Loop. We've been taking my 2 1/2 year old son to the "Baby Beats" series (well, he's in the toddler class now) and it's really excellent. Lots of moving around, rhythm, singing etc. Very age appropriate. You can get more info at www.meritmusic.org
Plus, there is so much music there - kids and adults of all ages playing all sorts of instruments, string ensembles, choral music, etc, in all the practice rooms around. It's really great exposure - my son loves to peek in at the jazz ensemble practicing in the room next door to the kid classes after we leave. Sometimes we end up staying to watch the different lessons and ensembles for up to an hour! And the teachers are all great - almost every time they have a free moment they invite my son in to look at whatever instrument they are holding. He's gotten to push the buttons on a tuba, see trombones, bassoons, trumpets, etc.
We really enjoy Bubbles. If you have not been in there, stop by! It is a great space. They let you try a class for free most of the time. That way you can see if you and the little one like it. I also take a music class at the JCC in Lakeview which we love.
Logan Square Fine Arts for Tots has programs for babies at St. Lukes (2649 N. Francisco) on Tues & Wed. The parents I know who have babies in the class like them better than Wiggleworms because they incorporate more movement and they incorporate the Spanish language. My 5 yo is in the Sat class for older kids and she loves it. ____@____.com or 773/235-5420
