My daughter who is 6 months loves to smile talk and squeal. But when it comes to giggles they are few and far inbetween. Anyone else have/or had a baby that didn't giggle?
It's a learned behavior...she may not be ready yet.
It took my daughter a couple months. After that, I still had to wait for her to giggle again. When she realized how funny it was, she was giggling all the time. In time she will :)
My DD isn't much of a giggler. She does once in a while, but you really have to work to get one out of her! She is 11 months now...
Every baby is different. Your baby smiles and laughs, so she's right on target. Giggles are just a variant of laughing. I don't think you have anything to worry about.
