There is the Jackson Street Roundhouse in St. Paul. They have a short train ride and have birthday parties in a train in the museum.
I'm looking for ideas for my soon to be 4 year old's birthday party. He didn't get a party last year due to the arrival of his baby brother, so I would like to do something nice for him this year. We've done Gymborree in the past and I don't want to do the Amazing Pizza Machine or Children's Museum.
He loves cars, trains, superheros, etc - all they typical boy stuff. I would like to do something that doesn't take a lot of prep time or cost too much. We're thinking of going to the Durham (we're members) but if I could figure out an at home option to keep the kids busy and having fun that would be great!
Thank you for any and all ideas!

My son also turns 4 this month and we're going have the party at our house and rent one of those bounce house things to keep the kids busy around here. They're all excited for it.
Hello,
Micheal's Arts & Crafts have really cute craft project bday party options and is very reasonably priced. And best of all, you can bring in your own food and they clean up the mess!
Have a great party.
Choo Choo Bob's Train Store in St. Paul does a nice job with birthday parties for a really reasonable price. (And they get their cakes from La Patesserie so they're really yummy!)
